Use a photo or your phone camera to ask a plain question, get a first-pass answer and check it before you act.
What you need
A phone or computer with Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude, one clear photo, and the label, manual or other original source you can use to check the answer.
Before you start
Choose a harmless, non-urgent example. Remove names, addresses, account numbers and school or hospital details. Do not photograph people without permission, IDs, bank cards, passwords, OTPs or private documents.
What to do
- Pick one thing in front of you. Avoid other people’s faces, bank cards, IDs and private documents.
- Take a photo, then open Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude. In ChatGPT tap + then Add photos & files. In Claude tap + then Add files or photos. In the Gemini mobile app you can also tap Live, then Camera.
- Ask a clear question, for example: “What does this label say I should do next?” Paste the prompt below after the photo.
- Match names, numbers and warnings to what you actually see. If it is still unclear, take a closer photo of that part or check the original manual, seller or teacher.

You can upload a still photo to Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude, subject to account and usage limits. ChatGPT live camera video while talking is only for eligible subscribers using Advanced Voice in the mobile app; if you do not see it, use a photo. Gemini Live is a mobile-app feature, not the Gemini website.
