What you will make
A short handover that lists only the tasks, owners, and dates you typed.
What you need
The tasks still open, who can continue each one, and any date you already know.
Before you start
Leave out customer names, account numbers, passwords, and files you are not allowed to share. A practice list is enough.
What to do
- List the open tasks in your own words.
- Write who can continue each task, and any date that is already agreed.
- Paste that list into the prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- Read the note with your teammate and remove anything the note added.

Before you use it: A tidy note can invent a deadline or a promise. Compare every task and date with your list before you send it. If your workplace has its own handover form, use that form. This note does not replace it.
