What you will make

A short list of next steps taken from one voice note, with anything unclear marked To confirm.

What you need

A transcript you typed or the transcript your phone already shows. One voice note is enough.

Before you start

Ask before you put someone else's voice or their private story into an AI chat. Remove names, addresses, school records, medical details, and account numbers. Type the words instead of uploading the audio when you can.

What to do

  1. Play the voice note and type what it says, or copy the transcript your phone shows.
  2. Remove private details. Keep the tasks, dates, and requests.
  3. Paste that text into the prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
  4. Check each next step against the voice note before you act on it or forward it.

Try this prompt

Paste a transcript. Do not upload the audio file unless the speaker agreed.

Turn this one voice-note transcript into next steps.
Use only the words I paste.
Separate: what was asked, who it was for if that person is named, and any date that was actually spoken.
If a date, owner, or task is missing, write "To confirm".
Do not invent a deadline, a promise, or a decision.
Do not reply to the sender for me.

Transcript: [paste what was said]

Illustrative example. Your answer may differ.

Input (illustrative): "Can you bring the enrollment form on Friday? I think the cashier closes at four, but check." Example result: Bring the enrollment form on Friday. Cashier closing time: To confirm. No other task was spoken.

Before you use it: Listen once more or reread the transcript. A tidy list can add a task the speaker never said. This is not a meeting summary and it does not send a reply.

Try this follow-up

Keep only the tasks. Remove any task that the voice note did not actually say.

If the answer is not right

If a task or deadline was not in the transcript, name that line and ask for a list that uses only the words you supplied.
