Improve a draft without losing your voice

Claude can help you revise writing, explain documents and think through a problem. For your first task, use a short draft that does not contain private information.

What you need

A phone or computer with internet access.
Claude in a browser or the official app.
An account may be required. Available features and limits can change.

Try this

Open Claude and start a new chat.
Copy the prompt below into the message box and replace the bracketed text with a short draft.
Press the send button, then compare the answer with your draft.

Improve the message below, but keep my meaning and natural voice.
Use short sentences and a respectful tone.
After the rewrite, list any detail that may need fact-checking.

Try it without your own draft

Sample draft: “Hi the meeting moved to Friday 2 PM please confirm you can come thanks.”

A possible revision: “Hi, the meeting has moved to Friday at 2 PM. Please confirm whether you can attend. Thank you.”

Check that Friday and 2 PM stay unchanged. This is an example, not a guaranteed response.

If it changed too much

Keep more of my original wording. Change only unclear or repetitive sentences.

Before you use the result

Compare the revision with your original message.
Check whether any names, amounts or commitments changed.
Never paste passwords, PINs, one-time login codes or card details. Remove private information before uploading documents or screenshots. See what to leave out of a chat.
Remove personal, company or customer information that the task does not require.
